Balasore: In a tragic incident, five persons were injured and two of them critically in a head-on collision between two cars near Kalakad Chhak on Nilagiri-Udala State Highway no. 19 on Monday in Balasore district.
The injured persons who are tourists from neighbouring West Bengal were immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Nilagiri. As condition of two out of the five was critical and was deteriorating they have been shifted to the district headquarters hospital here.
These tourists from West Bengal were on their way to Debkund in Mayurbhanj district after visiting Panchlingeswar.
