Dhenkanal: Five persons sustained critical injuries when the bus they were travelling by met with a series accident with a Hyva truck and another loaded truck on National Highway No 149 near Kamakshanagar in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the driver of a tourist bus first collided with a Hyva truck resulting in injuries to five people. The tourist bus was returning from Sambalpur to Chandikhol with over 40 picnickers. The driver of the Hyva truck also sustained injuries in the accident.
Soon after the accident, the driver of another truck lost control of the wheel and crashed into the Hyva while trying to overtake another vehicle.
All the injured have been admitted to Talcher Community Health Center (CHC).
