Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, a five-year-old boy drowned after falling into a shallow well near his house at Palagandua village under Gondia block in Dhenkanal district today.
According to reports, five-year-old Takul Khatua, son of Sukant Khatua of Palagandua village was playing near the shallow well near his house in the morning.
As Takul didn’t return home after playing, his family members searched for him. After nearly 2-3 hours his body was found in the shallow well near their house.
Villagers suspect that Taklu who was playing near the shallow well could have accidentally slipped into it leading to his drowning.
