Bhubaneswar: A total of 58 ambulances/DBCs have been deployed at the disposal of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation/ Odisha Health Department for transportation of relatives with the body of the three-train accident at Bahanaga Bazar railway station in Odisha’s Balasore district on June 2. Bhubaneswar RTO is the nodal officer of this programme. These ambulances/DBCs will transport the relatives of the accident victims and the body free of cost till the final destination.
It is worth mentioning here that 275 passengers of two trains that collided during the accident were killed and over 1,000 sustained varying degrees of injuries.
