Cuttack: Out of the 81 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today in Cuttack district, 59 cases belong to Cuttack city, informed the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
Among them, 56 cases are from Institutional Quarantine, one is a case of Home Quarantine and two are local contact cases.
Out of the 56 Institutional Quarantine cases, 53 are patients and attendants from Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) Isolation Ward, two are COVID Warriors from SCB Medical College Isolation Ward and one is a COVID Warrior from AHRCC Isolation Center.
The one Home Quarantine case is a 27-year-old female from Tala Telanga Bazar and is contact of a previous positive case. Among the two local contact cases, one is a 34-year-old male from Shankarpur who is linked with AHRCC and the other is a 30-year-old female from Nimchouri, Chandni Chowk.
Further contact tracing, testing, and sanitization of the concerned areas are underway.
