Bhubaneswar: An executive engineer and a district culture office on Friday came under the scanner of Vigilance Department on charges of amassing disproportionate assets (DA). This was in pursuance of implementation of 5T by the State government.
Drainage department’s Executive engineer Basant Kumar Panda was charged with amassing property disproportionate to his income. The Vigilance officers on Friday are conducting concurrent raids at seven different addresses of Panda and his relatives in Balasore.
Vigilance sleuths of Berhampur division today are conducting simultaneous raids at six different residential and official addresses of one Sukru Swain, District Culture Officer, and Dhenkanal. The raids are being conducted in Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, and Berhampur.
