Bhubaneswar: As per directions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary 5T VK Pandian today morning visited SCB Medical College & Hospital at Cuttack and reviewed the progress of the construction work.
Currently, the construction of four Clinical blocks by L&T and 13 Residential blocks by NCC is underway.
Pandian advised the completion of these blocks by December. Works Department Secretary Vir Vikram Yadav and Cuttack Collector Bhabani Prasad Chayani were present during the review.
SCB Medical College & Hospital is not only a prestigious health institution in the State but in the country. It has a high reputation in the field of healthcare and education.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced to build it into a world-class health institution. Accordingly, its expansion work is underway in full swing under the 5T initiative.
Work is underway to build it into a 5,000 bedded world-class health institution.
