6 Armed Robbers Loot Rs 15 Lakh From Businessman In Nabarangpur

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, six armed robbers looted Rs 15 lakh from a businessman in broad daylight at Pathan Sahi under Raighar block in Nabarangpur district, On Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Abdul Ansari, was attacked while on his way to the weekly market at Chatabeda in Parua Gram Panchayat, accompanied by two companions.

According to reports, the robbers, who were masked and armed, ambushed the trio, snatched a bag full of cash and critically injured Abdul Ansari in the process. He was quickly rushed to the nearby Health & Wellness Centre in Raigarh for treatment.

Upon receiving a tip-off, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation into the daring robbery.
