Bhubaneswar: Out of the 14 latest cases of Omicron in the State, 8 persons have an international travel history and 6 are local contacts, Health Director, Dr Bijay Mohapatra said.
The persons affected are from Balasore (4), Sambalpur (4), Khurda and Jajpur. Seven of them are men and seven women, and are in between 11 to 54 years of age, he added.
The contact tracing has been completed for these cases and some of the contacts were found to be COVID positive, said Dr Mohapatra.
