Bhubaneswar: With a further dip in the inflow of floodwater into Hirakud Dam, six more sluice gates of the reservoir have been shut with water currently being released through 10 gates.
According to data shared by the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) at 12 noon today, the reservoir level was 620.47 feet. The inflow has been recorded at 1,90,298 cusecs while the outflow was 2,91,433 cusecs
Similarly, the discharge at Khairmal has been recorded at 5,90,000 cusecs, at Barmul it is 7,86,500 cusecs, and 8,35,672 at Munduli in the Mahanadi system.
