Bhubaneswar: As many as six places recorded maximum temperatures above 42 degrees while 14 places recorded above 40 degrees on Sunday.
Sambalpur was the hottest at 43.3 degrees followed by Hirakud – 42.8 and Boudh at 42.6 degrees.
