65-Year-Old Woman Succumbs To COVID-19, State Toll Rises To 8,435

Bhubaneswar: A 65-year-old woman of Bhadrak, who was suffering from COVID-19 succumbed to the disease on Saturday. According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, so far 8,435 persons have died due to COVID-19 in Odisha.

On the other hand, Khurda district reported 86 out of the 160 new COVID-19 positive cases reported on Saturday. At present, there are 2,144 active cases in the State which is 1.28% of the active cases in India.
