Boudh: A joint team of police and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel seized 672 kilograms of ganja from the Matakupa forest area under Kantamal police limits in Boudh district on Wednesday. In connection with the seizure, 24 individuals were arrested.
According to the police, the operation was conducted based on a tip-off. A raid was carried out by Kantamal police and BSF personnel, leading to the recovery of the contraband and the subsequent arrests. The accused have been forwarded to court for further legal proceedings.
The seized ganja is estimated to be worth approximately Rs one crore in the grey market.
