Balangir: Seven girl students of Bapuji High School at Sunamudi village under Patnagarh block of Balangir district were hospitalised as they fell unwell after being made to do sit-ups.
As per sources, after some girl students arrived late at the prayer session of the school, a teacher identified as Bikash Dharua ordered them to do 100 sit-ups as punishment.
During the sit-ups, seven girls fell unwell. The school authorities immediately rushed them in an ambulance to Patnagarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. The condition of one among them was stated to be critical.
