Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has initiated measures to fill over 70 vacant posts in the Animal Resources Department, informed Minister of State of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Gokulananda Mallik the Assembly.
Minister’s reply came in response to a query raised by Pradip Kumar Dishari.
Minister also informed the Assembly that the selection process for OVS cadre base level posts (VAS/AVAS) is underway by OPSC, with document verification completed for 70 candidates. Appointment orders are expected soon. 573 out of 648 selected Livestock Inspectors are undergoing training and will be appointed in various districts post-training.
