Jaleshwar: The Jaleshwar Youth Students’ Organisation has called an 8-hour bandh on Monday in support of their demand for the creation of a separate Jaleshwar Sub-Division. The bandh is effective from 7.00 am to 3 pm today.
Barring emergency services, business establishments, offices, and academic institutions remained closed since the morning while public transport was off the road to express solidarity with the bandh protagonists.
Stating that the bandh call was given in the interest of all the residents of Jaleshwar, the Jaleshwar Youth Students’ Organisation has appealed to all to support the shutdown.
