Balasore: As many as eight people were injured due to stray dog bites in Atpur, Kanpur and Pitakali areas of Soro block in Balsore district on Saturday.
They have been admitted to Soro Hospital. The stray dog menace is increasing by the day in the locality, locals said.
The incident took place last night when stray dogs in group attacked locals in different village areas in the block. People sustained injuries on hand and legs. All were taken to Soro hospital while some of them were referred to the district headquarters hospital.
The patients were administered with anti-rabies vaccine.
