Bhubaneswar: A total on 89 COVID cases were detected in Odisha on Saturday, the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department informed today morning.
According to the I&PR Department, 6 of the 89 cases are under 18 years of age. Out of the new cases 53 persons are in quarantine while 36 are local contacts.
The test positivity rate (TPR) of Odisha stands at 1.01%. The maximum number of cases (10) were reported from Balasore district while, no COVID case was detected in 13 districts of the State.
Total, 124 persons recovered from the disease on Saturday taking the total number of recoveries in Odisha to more than 13.25 lakh. As on Sunday, there are 588 active cases in the State.
