Nuapada: A 9-foot-long python weighing over ten kilograms was rescued from a farmland in Dumerbahal village under Kharial block in Nuapada district on Monday.
According to reports, the python was sighted at Prahallad Panda’s farmland.
Panda’s family members were scared by the sighting of the python since the farmland was very close to their house.
On being informed, Forest department personnel reached the spot rescued the snake and released it in a nearby forest.
