Malkangiri: A nine-foot long python weighing 15 Kg was rescued from a chicken vendor’s stall near Satiguda dam in Malkangiri district on Saturday.
According to reports, locals noticed the python inside the chicken stall and called up snake helpline members B Bibhuti Bhusan and Sarat Nayak. The snake helpline members rescued the python which was later released into the wild by Forest Department staff.
