Bhubaneswar: SAI International did its bit by donating a few necessity items needed by the victims of the flooded areas of Goap Block in Puri District. SAI International donated Biscuits, Chhatua Powder, Sugar, Chuda Mixture, Mudhi, Candles, Matchbox, Mosquito Repellent coil, Stick, Spray and Sanitary Pads towards flood relief at villages of Nothapur, Mahisahi, Sankhitra of Kuanpada panchayat and Villages of Itakuda, Olandi, Davara Gunia, Sankhatira, Harijana Sahi and Orauli of Davara panchayat under Goap block of Puri district. Items donated were sanitised and sealed before sending for distribution.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, Dr. Silpi Sahoo said,” It is the duty of each citizen to come forward to help the one in despair. And children need to understand such acts of kindness through activities like these to grow up as empathetic ones. We inculcate empathy and kindness by making our SAIoneers understand the pain of the ones in need”.
