Bhubaneswar: Renowned singer Humane Sagar’s last recorded song remained unfinished, a poignant reminder of his untimely departure.

According to reports, the soulful ballad, part of the upcoming movie Baghuni, was his final gift to fans, recorded just two weeks before his passing.

The song was written by Nirmal Nayak and composed by the celebrated music director Prem Anand. The recording took place at Milan Studio in Cuttack two weeks ago in the presence of Prem Anand.

During the recording, Humane Sagar was found struggling to continue. Prem Anand, sensing his discomfort, stopped him after just one verse, advising him to take a break and prioritise his health. And, the song’s recording remained incomplete.

Humane Sagar later became ill and was hospitalised. Prem Anand, meanwhile, has decided to keep the song as Humane Sagar’s last recorded work, choosing not to let any other singer complete it.

Humane Sagar, known for his powerful vocals, had won the hearts of millions with his romantic songs in Odia films and albums. His untimely demise at 36 has left a void in the music world, with fans and fellow musicians mourning his loss.
