Abandoned Newborn Twin Girls Rescued From Odisha’s Bolangir Railway Station Toilet
**Bolangir:** Two newborn twin baby girls were found abandoned inside a toilet at Bolangir railway station in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
According to sources, the newborn twins were found inside a bag and are believed to be aged about two-month-old. The matter came to light after a passenger spotted them inside the toilet and informed railway officials who subsequently reported the matter to the members of the Childline.
Acting on the information, the Childline officials reached to the station and rescued the twins. The babies were admitted to the Balangir Medical College and Hospital (MCH) in the Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU). The condition of both the babies is stated to be stable now.
Meanwhile, police have started an investigation into the matter to trace the parents.
