Bhubaneswar: A truck parked near the post office under Mancheswar police limits of the city caught fire in the evening today.
There are no reports of any causalities due to the fire.
According to reports, a truck was lying in front of Mancheswar post office for several days in an abandoned state. It is suspected that some miscreant set it ablaze around 6 o’clock in the evening today.
On being informed, Odisha Fire Service personnel reached the spot and have tamed the blaze.
Since the truck was lying under overhead power transmission conductors, power supply had to be switched off in the area for nearly two hours.
