Bhubaneswar: Renowned music director and singer Abhijit Majumdar has been admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in a critical condition. According to the health bulletin issued by AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Majumdar has slipped into a coma and is on ventilator support in the central ICU of General Medicine. Unfortunately, he is not responding to treatment properly.
When shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar at 10 AM, Majumdar was suffering from hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and liver disease. He has also been diagnosed with pneumonia and severe lung infections.
Initially, Majumdar was admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack on August 31 after complaining of health complications. His condition deteriorated, prompting his transfer to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for further treatment.
