Bhubaneswar: Eminent sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik was rushed to a hospital after complaining breathing problem, on Tuesday.
Patnaik informed about his health conditions through his X handle.
Taking to twitter, he wrote: “Jai Jagannath. May be Due to post Covid, I am suffering from breathing problem, admitted in a hospital. Doctors are taking care of me.”
Pattnaik was recently in the news for good reasons. He came up with a huge sand sculpture to create awareness about voting awareness Puri Beach in Odisha.
Patnaik created a sand sculpture on 2,000 sq ft area to spread awareness on voting with the message “Chunab ka Parba, Desh ka Garv”.
Since mango is the favourite fruit for people during the summer, the sand artist used mangoes in the sand sculpture to attract the voters to participate in the voting underway for six Lok Sabha and 42 assembly segments.
