Bhubaneswar: Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Department Arabinda Padhee has directed all District Collectors to expedite the collection of land revenue and water cess targets for the financial year 2025-26.
The Finance Department has set targets of Rs 980 crore from land revenue and Rs 25.32 crore from water cess. With the financial year nearing its end, Dr Padhee has instructed Collectors to remain vigilant and adopt proactive measures to achieve the target.
Besides,Padhee has directed Revenue Divisional Commissioners to conduct weekly reviews to monitor progress. He instructed Collectors to remain vigilant, report regularly, and take proactive measures to achieve land revenue and water cess targets.
