Bhubaneswar: Actor Manoj Mishra and his wife Mamata Nanda approached the Cyber police station after they were being trolled on social media for their second marriage.
According to sources, Mishra, known for his poignant acting and straightforward views on the Odia film industry and its current state, has been a subject of controversy and debate. Recently, he tied the knot for the second time, which sparked a lot of discussion and gossip on social media platforms like YouTube. The couple has been facing online harassment and criticism for their personal life and second marriage.
Frustrated over it, Mishra and his wife filed a complaint with the cyber police.
The actor has alleged that he and his wife are being trolled with obscene language and derogatory comments. He has requested the cyber police to take necessary action to stop harassment on social media.
Notably, Manoj Mishra had joined the Congress party during the last elections and contested from the Bolangir parliamentary constituency, marking his entry into politics.
