**Bhadrak:** As normalcy is limping back to the district headquarters town and its peripheral areas here after communal tensions last week, the district administration on Tuesday for the third consecutive day effected partial lifting of curfew from 7 am to 2 am and later extended it to 4 pm.
Following such a development, most of the schools, colleges, banks, offices and shops were seen open even though attendance was marked thin as fear still grips the general public despite the large posse of security personnel on guard and high alert.
The administration is mulling to revive internet facility after it was banned due to hate messages and provocative propaganda on social media sites that had aggravated the law and order situation here. Such a decision is being taken by the administration as normal banking and other public services are being affected without the internet facility.
The administration has also decided to keep the medicine shops open even after re-imposing of curfew after 4 pm today. The medicine shops will be allowed to open till late night after being provided adequate police protection for the emergency needs of the patients and general public.
A peace committee meeting has also been convened by the district administration.
Central Range RDC and other State-level top cops are still camping here and have been monitoring the law and order.
While a large posse of police force, both the State Police and Central forces, are on guard and high alert, the district administration has been relaxing curfew during daytime since Sunday after noticing no untoward incidents as had been on Friday and Saturday last week.
On Monday, curfew had also been relaxed till 4 pm after being extended from 12 noon while it had been re-clamped after 4 pm till 7 pm today.
