Bhubaneswar: A delegation from Africa recently visited Odisha to study the best practices of ICT implementation for good governance. It included representatives from various ministries in Ethiopia & Sudan such as Innovation & Technology, Urban Development & Construction, Agriculture, and Mines & Petroleum. Lauding Odisha’s 5T mantra, the delegation was inspired by the state’s vision in unlocking the power of technology to impact millions of citizens’ lives.
The delegates made field visits to separate parts of the state to understand automation of minerals management & dispatch control, cereals procurement and smart city operations. They appreciated the emphasis given by the state departments in adopting digital archiving of official communication. Most importantly, they hailed the feedback management system under “Mo Sarkar” initiative for empowering people to drive transformation in Odisha.
Their visit was facilitated by CSM Technologies, a pioneering GovTech firm serving as a key technology partner for the Government of Odisha. Speaking on the occasion, Subhendu Mohapatra, Business Head (MEA), CSM Technologies said, “This was a great opportunity for all of us to share best practices and explore avenues of collaboration for mutual growth.”
