**Angul:** After bird flu (H5N1) was detected in Krushnaprasad block of Puri district, panic has gripped people of Angul district over spread of the avian flu.
This comes after some birds were found dead at National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) area of Angul today.
Locals have reported the matter to Chief District Veterinary Officer and sought immediate action on part of the district administration.
Meanwhile, culling of poultry birds is underway in Puri.
