Jharsuguda: Even before that shock and anger over the kidnap and murder of Samarth Agrawal of Sarbahal areas of Odisha’s Jharsuguda could be erased from people’s minds, another minor is said to be missing from the Buromal area in the district since April 7.

According to reports, the victim’s mother had fallen ill and hospitalised on April 7 and his father accompanied his wife to the hospital. The boy was at home with his brother and went missing from there. He was last seen standing in front of the house on April 7.

Jharsuguda SP Parmar Smit Parshottamdas confirmed that a case of abduction has been registered at the Town Police Station regarding the missing minor from Buromal after the boy’s family members lodged a complaint with the police in this connection.

Meanwhile, the police have launched a search operation to trace the whereabouts of the missing minor but with little success.

It is worth mentioning here that Samarth Agarwal, the 15-year-old son of a local businessman in Jharsuguda, was abducted on March 27 and his body was recovered from Bargarh on March 28.

Later, police arrested Amit Kumar Sharma of Jharsuguda and Dinesh Kumar Agarwal of Brajrajnagar in connection with the case.
