**Bhubaneswar:** The teachers, agitating under banner of Odisha School College Teachers and Employees United Forum (OSCTEUF) at the Lower PMG square here for nearly two months over their multi-point long-standing demands, decided to put their stir on hold till November 30 after a discussion with the State Government yesterday.
A 13-member delegation of OSCTEUF met Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi yesterday after which the forum held its steering committee meeting and decided to put the strike on hold. The forum has given an ultimatum to the State Government till November 30 to fulfill its demands.
All the offices of District and Block Education Officers will be paralysed from December 1 if the State Government does not fulfill the demands within the given time frame threatened the forum.
Besides, the forum in coordination with around one lakh students, teachers and parents will organise a ‘Padayatra’ in every villages of Odisha and further intensify their agitation till commence of 2019 elections, said Chief Convenor of OSCTEUF Prakash Chandra Mohanty.
