**Bhubaneswar:** In response to the protesting teachers who were preventing their alternate teachers from entering the evaluation centres, the government has back fired with the police.
According to reports, tension erupts when the agitated All Odisha School College Teachers’ and Employees’ United Forum who were sitting on a protest against the State Government before different schools across the city barred the newly appointed teachers from entering the evaluation centres.
As soon as police got information and reached the spots, the tension only increased resulting in police lathi-charge over the agitating members.
These teachers were who were preventing the new appointed teachers for Matric exams paper evaluation from entering evaluation centres at different places were put in line in front of the Capital High School Unit-III. Police has detained three teachers as of now.
On the other hand, the evaluation of Matric answer sheets has begun with the help of alternate appointed teachers for the evaluation. And School and Higher Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra said that the results will be declared as per schedule.
