Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed senior MLA Ramachandra Kadam (Potangi) as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party.
Similarly, Ashok Das was appointed as the deputy leader of the Congress legislative party while CS Raazen Ekka got responsibility of party chief whip.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge approved the proposal for their appointment. The AICC issued a release regarding the appointment.
In a related development, the Congress President also dissolved the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee including the PCC president, its office bearers, the executive committee, district/block, mandal congress committee, frontal organisations and cells, with immediate effect.
The current DCC Presidents will serve as acting Presidents until new DCC Presidents are appointed.
