Bhubaneswar: A trainee pilot sustained injuries as an aircraft he was piloting crashed at Birasal airstrip in Kamakyanagar of Dhenkanal district today.
The trainee pilot was rushed to Kamakhyanagar hospital where he is undergoing treatment. According to reports, the plane crashed on the ground when the aircraft was 15 feet above the ground.
The injured trainee pilot was identified as Karan Mallik of Maharastra. His plane crashed while landing. He sustained injuries on his face and nose, reports stated.
