**Bhubaneswar: ** As the ‘missing key’ of Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar has been retrieved from the District Record Room of Puri Collectorate on Wednesday (June 13) amid lots of political hue and cry as well as public anxieties, Odisha Law Minister-cum-in-charge of Puri Shree Jagannath Temple helms of affairs on the very next day (Friday) tried to clear air on the subsequent queries and doubts cropping up out of the key retrieval development and the inscription ‘Duplicate Key’.
In his media reactions, Odisha Law Minister Pratap Jena said, “By the blessings of Lord Jagannath, the missing key of Ratna Bhandar has been retrieved. The sealed envelope containing the key has the inscription on it that it is the key of the innermost chamber of Ratna Bhandar which was opened in 1985.”
“As the envelope is a sealed one and inscribed on it ‘Duplicate’, it’s being dubbed as duplicate key. As Judicial Commission of Inquiry has already been initiated and the its report will be submitted within three months time, all doubts arising out of the term ‘duplicate keys’ will get clarified then after,” he clarified.
He affirmed, “Whatever terms of reference have been notified by the State Government it is all related to the Ratna Bhandar key. Hence, after the inquiry made and report received everything will be crystal clear.”
