Jharsuguda: Good news for flyers of western Odisha as Alliance Air is going to resume the flight operation between Jharsuguda and Bhubaneswar soon.
The service will be available most probably from December 16, said Sandeep Tiwari, director, Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda.
“We will share the slot allocation soon. Most probably, the flight will start operation from December 16. It will provide service four times a week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will land in Jharsguda from Bhubaneswar at 5.30 pm and will take off for Bhubaneswar at 5.55 pm,” he informed.
After the end of the summer season, the flight service from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar was suspended by Alliance Air for one and a half months.
The suspension of the service resented passengers of Jharsuguda and adjacent regions.
Given the passengers’ concern, Airport authorities asked the airlines to resume flight services.
