Bhubaneswar: An ‘Ama Bus’ caught fire on National Highway 16 near Gada Khordha Square on Thursday.
According to reports, the fire broke out while the bus was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Khordha. Fortunately, all passengers on board were safely evacuated.
Upon receiving the distress call, the fire brigade team rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control. Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit might have caused the fire.
Thankfully, the prompt response of the fire brigade team prevented any major casualties.
