Bhubaneswar: A delegation from America India Foundation Trust met Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Energy KV Singh Deo today, expressing interest in collaborating with the Odisha government in education, early childhood care, and integrated programs.

The delegation presented a PowerPoint presentation on their projects and initiatives to Singh Deo at Lok Seva Bhavan, attended by Minister of School & Mass Education, ST&SC and SSEPD Nityananda Gond.

The America India Foundation Trust is a volunteer organization focused on integrated programs for early childhood care development, treating malnutrition, and education for children from 6 months to 6 years old. Currently, the Trust operates in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, and collaborates with Anganwadi centres in two blocks of Mayurbhanj district, Odisha, on a pilot basis.

The Trust aims to partner with the Odisha government to address education, early childhood care, and integrated programs, ultimately reducing stunting and malnutrition in children. The meeting was attended by Commissioner-cum-Secretary Mission Shakti Shalini Pandit, Regional Director – East America India Foundation Trust Smruti Das, and Subrat Sarkar, who provided valuable feedback on the presentation.
