Bhubaneswar: While addressing a press meet at New Delhi convened amid the reported violence-marred Kolkata’s College Street in TMC-ruled West Bengal yesterday, BJP president Amit Shah today eulogized BJD supremo-cum-Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s rule.

Heaping praises, Shah reportedly remarked that the violent scene noticed in West Bengal under the TMC rule and led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was never seen in neighbouring Odisha ruled by Naveen Babu (Patnaik).

He also alleged that the way violence has been ruling the roost in TMC-ruled West Bengal, never found in any BJP-ruled States.

Notably, violence erupted yesterday in Kolkata along the College Street area during the road show of BJP president Amit Shah. Bengal’s iconic statue of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar has been reportedly vandalized by miscreants following which war of words and blame game have been on its pitch between TMC and BJP.
