**Bhubaneswar:** BJP national president Amit Shah has been invited to grace the state-level Maha Samabesh (mega rally) of Odisha unit slated on November 25 at the capital city here.
This was informed after the preparatory meeting of the brainstorming session of State BJP leaders that began on Saturday here at the party headquarters to frame a roadmap for the next Panchayat elections.
The preparatory meeting was presided over by Odisha BJP president Basanta Panda here to fine tune the preparations for the proposed mega rally near the State Assembly against the alleged failures of Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government.
Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister, Petroleum and Natural Gas said, “State-level rally will be staged on November 25. Odisha unit has invited its national president to grace the occasion. Bharatiya Janata Party will fight for the rights of the Odia people. A massive public awareness programme has been decided. Here the Odia people are being deprived of their legitimate rights owing to an inefficient administration here. This will be the vital issue. The State Government is very often resorting to tactics in a bid to hush up its inefficiency. That is the motto of the Samabesh.”
Basant Panda, President, Odisha BJP said, “Problems plague like drinking water, doctors in government hospitals and teachers in schools. Irrigation facility has not yet inched forth due to the inefficient Government here for the last 17 years. These will be highlighted in our leaflets to be pasted across Odisha. Our Samabesh will be successful here.”
