Koraput: In yet another endeavour by neighbouring Andhra Pradesh to woo the villagers of disputed Kotia gram panchayat to its side, AP’s Deputy Chief Minister P Rajanna Dora visited Neradibalsa and Tadibalsa villages.
According to reports, Dora along with members of AP’s ruling party YSR Congress visited the houses of the tribal people in Neradibalsa and Tadibalsa villages and explained to them the benefits of the AP government’s various welfare schemes for tribals including the Nav Ratna scheme.
He advised them to take advantage of the various welfare schemes of the AP government.
Dora accompanied by his party workers, AP government officials and police held a procession in the area to the beating of drums.
Despite the Odisha government having a police station and administrative machinery in Kotia area, none opposed the AP Deputy CM’s visit to the area.
