Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday launched searches at five locations linked to Subrat Kumar Behera, Junior Assistant at Angul District Headquarters Hospital today.
The operation, part of Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 06/2026, aims to investigate alleged misappropriation of Rs 2.38 crores in government funds.
Searches are being conducted at five locations linked to Behera, including his residence, relatives’ homes, and office, in connection with Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 06/2026 under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The raids are being conducted by 5 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, 14 ASIs, and other supporting staff.
Searches are underway at Behera’s residences in Hakimpada in Angul town, his relative’s house in Bonda village, his paternal home in Baunsapokhari, Dhenkanal, a rented house in Shree Vihar, Bhubaneswar, and his office at CDMO, Angul.

- House of his relative located at Village Bonda, PS Nalco Nagar Angul.
- His paternal house located at Baunsapokhari, Hindol, Dist Dhenkanal.
- Residential rented house of his cousin located at Shree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
- Office room of Sri Behera located at O/O CDMO, Angul.
