**Angul: ** In a tragic road mishap on Tuesday-Wednesday intervening night at Badakera Chhak along NH-55 in the district here, the driver of a Tata Safari car got killed on the spot.
As per reports, the road accident took place at around 3 am on Tuesday night when the vehicle lost balance and collided against a bridge and fell 15 feet below.
The vehicle was coming from Boudh to Angul.
The deceased driver has been identified as Rohit Pradhan of Akharakata village under Thakurgada PS in the district here.
Three traders in the Tata Safari have been seriously injured.
There were rescued by the locals and rushed to Angul District Headquarters Hospital.
Later, they were shifted to a private hospital.
Bantala police has seized the mangled vehicle while the body of the driver was sent for post mortem.
