Another 64 Cases Confirmed As COVID Deaths, State’s Toll Rises To 6951

Bhubaneswar: The Health and Family Welfare Department on Sunday confirmed another 64 fatalities over the past few months in Odisha as COVID-19 deaths.

According to the Health Department, 16 more cases in Khurda, 13 in Nayagarh, and 12 in Cuttack districts have been confirmed as death due to COVID-19.

With this, the COVID toll of Khurda has reached 1,401 and Cuttack 524. 569 persons have died due to the disease in Sundergarh while 462 in Ganjam district.

Similarly, 323 in Bargarh, 230 in Balasore, 289 in Angul, 204 in Kalahandi, 238 in Mayurbhanj, 413 in Puri and 222 persons in Sambalpur districts have succumbed to the deadly disease.
