Another Cyclonic Circulation Over BoB, More Rains In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is to occur in several districts of Odisha for the next four days under the influence of the weather system associated with the Cyclonic Storm ‘Gulab’ and another cyclonic circulation over Northeast & adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the remnant of the cyclonic storm ‘Gulab’ lay centered as a deep depression over south Odisha & adjoining south Chhattisgarh about 65 km east-northeast of Malkanagiri at 0830 hrs IST today.

The system is likely to move nearly westwards and weaken into a Depression during the next six hours and into a well marked Low Pressure Area during subsequent 24 Hrs. Under its influence, heavy to very heavy rainfall or thunderstorm is likely to occur in several districts of Odisha for the next four days.
