Another Police Constable Candidate Succumbs At MKCG Medical College & Hospital

Rayagada: Yet again another candidate who took part in the physical test for recruitment of police constables succumbed at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur today evening.

According to reports, one Harish Chandra Kulesia (26) of Jagdalpur village under Ambadola police limits of Rayagada district had suddenly fallen ill while taking part in sprints as part of the physical test for recruitment of male police constables being held at the Rayagada Reserve Police Ground here on Friday.

As Kulesia’s condition deteriorated he was shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

He succumbed at around 5.23 PM today while undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College & Hospital.

Earlier on Friday, Dipti Ranjan Das of Shyamsundarpur under Khallikote police limits who had taken part in the physical test for recruitment of police constables at the Chhatrapur Reserve Police ground in Ganjam had fallen ill. He was shifted to MKCG Medical College & Hospital where he succumbed.
