Bhubaneswar: Antique idols and gold ornaments have been recovered during an excavation at the house of a priest of Baba Akhandalmani temple in Bhadrak.
As per the reports, excavation work at the house of the priest identified as Rabi Narayan Mishra uncovered rare idols and ornaments, allegedly hidden inside a brass utensil buried 15 feet underground.
The excavation was conducted under the guidance of a geologist after Mishra experienced strange occurrences at his home. However, the priest denies finding gold ornaments, claiming the recovered idols are made of brass.
Meanwhile, a lot of people alleged that property belonged to the temple and demanded the intervention of the temple administration.
