Cuttack: All efforts for conciliation between Ollywood actor turned politician-Kendrapada MP Anubhav Mohanty and his estranged wife Varsha Priyadarshini by the Family Court has finally ended without any results.
“Today the matter was listed in the Family Court for conciliation. The judge had kept thinking that there was some scope for conciliation. Conciliation proceedings were held in the chamber of the judge. But the result is that there is no scope for conciliation between them,” informed Anubhav Mohanty’s defence counsel Saswat Acharya speaking to reporters outside the Family Court.
Therefore, the court posted the matter for trial, further cross-examination, etc for the next date, said Acharya.
“Conciliation has failed and now trial will begin,” he added.
Acharya said that both parties have expressed that they do not want conciliation.
On being asked by reporters about the next date for a hearing in the matter, Acharya said the date for a hearing has not been notified and will be notified soon.
